While we were out on holidays in December, we got wind that we’ve been featured by Martha Stewart Weddings magazine as top Wedding Planner in the country for 2014, amongst a laundry list of some of the biggest industry heavyweights! There are some names that I have respected and admired from afar, so to be considered among the same two-page spread is pretty incredible. [There was a solo dance party and high kicks in my office to celebrate.]
It made me reflect back on the community and camaraderie that I’ve found within the industry, and how much that has truly enriched my life over the last four years. My goal for 2015 is to really dig into expanding this idea of community — in the wedding industry, in the creative business world, and beyond.
Cheers to the rest of the incredible talent listed! And be sure to check out the full 20th Anniversary edition of the Martha Stewart Weddings magazine — it’s a good one!
Today is the day! The new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings is officially out, and to say we’re excited is an understatement. We are thrilled to see Heather and Tibaut’s incredible ranch wedding from last April in print and gracing the pages of MSWeddings. We featured the inspiration board behind their starlight-and-wildflower celebration on Friday, and while we’re proud of the work that we (and a team of 200 other vendors!) put together, I’d safely say that the best part of that wedding was the Bowman and Winn family. You can really tell a lot from the dynamic of a family while working with them over the course of planning a wedding, and these two were some of the best we’ve worked with. Caring, kind, and really excited to celebrate Heather and Tibaut’s marriage. We couldn’t ask for more! Read More
We’re so excited to share that our sweet Ashley + James’ chambray and citrus invitation suite is featured on Oh So Beautiful Paper today. What a wonderful way to start off our week! This has truly been one of our favorite suites to design yet and we loved incorporating a bit of Texas flair along with a fresh and modern color palette. Plus, Heather Curiel totally nailed the photos!
If you’re pining for more photos of Ashley + James’ rustic meets modern wedding, check out this post and leave us a comment below to share your favorite color combination inspiration.
We were pleasantly surprised to find one of our fall weddings featured in the February issue of Tribeza. Laura + Connor’s wedding at the Winfield Inn in Kyle turned out beautifully, despite the chilly weather, and we’re excited that they were chosen as a featured couple. Go pick up a copy for yourself an check out the Tribeza feature along with stunning images from Whitney Runyon.
An anemone bouquet, muted peach bridesmaid dresses, and a beautiful multi-layered floral cake by Coco Paloma. We love this intimate moment that Whitney captured of the bride and groom on the dance floor with friends and family surrounding them!
Today we’re thrilled to share The Knot Texas magazine feature of Sean + Stephanie’s Barr Mansion wedding in the Spring/Summer 2014 Issue! We had such a great time planning and designing their sophisticated celebration and are honored to have the images featured. Go grab yourself a copy, and see The Nichols’ beautiful images in person!
