TGIF, y’all! Here is a quick little round-up of some goodies we’ve been in to lately.
How amazing is this arrangement by Emily Thompson for Veranda Magazine? I can’t get over how dramatic and powerful it is. The snowy scene is so peaceful and a perfect setting for such a stunning arrangement.
Besotted recently shared an interview with one of our favorite ladies, Bailey Amon of Antiquaria. It’s interesting to hear her background and how she got in to calligraphy. She also mentions wanting to teach calligraphy workshops, starting next year…we’re definitely crossing our fingers for that to happen! In the meantime, you can teach yourself some calligraphy basics with these tutorials from Antiquaria, and don’t forget that they‘re offering these calligraphy starter kits through their website. Now you don’t have any excuses not to teach yourself something new!
Of course, we have to share something food related. I’m excited to try this Sweet Potato Quinoa & Cotija salad from Love & Lemons sometime soon! It’s healthy and easy to throw together after work…what’s not to love?
Lastly, did you catch Brooklyn Bride’s collection of the top 10 boutonnieres? We’re honored to have made the list with this beauty! This bout is one of our most requested by brides, and we’re happy to oblige. It’s classic, and a little more interesting than your standard rose. Bonus: even guys love it!
We’ve got another busy week ahead, so we’re going to savor this weekend. Hope yours is great too!
