I’m on the road up north, enjoying the bounty of Montreal this past weekend and relishing the weather—anything with less than 90% humidity is amazing! It’s almost been a decade since I graduated from the halls of McGill’s School of Architecture, and I always enjoy returning. It’s been interesting to meander around the Plateau and Mile End area and see just how much it’s developed, evolved. A good friend put together an amazing list of new restaurants, coffee places, cocktail patios for me — I’ll give the full list shortly. But here are my highlights so far ….
