When Sarah, the bride, came to us asking for a “cabinet of curiosity” meets “belle époque” science-inspired wedding at Chateau Bellevue this past winter — our ears perked up. From florals to escort cards we were able to play with unique and other-worldly elements to create a wedding experience that reflected the shared interests of the scientist bride and groom. The Nichols photographers did such a wonderful job of capturing their personalities in the spirit of the day.
Celebrations always seem to be grounded in food. Whether it is a holiday, anniversary, or just a summer barbeque, there is nothing more special than friends, family and loved ones coming together over a shared meal. Food is central to our celebrations, and a wedding is no different. Choosing the person to prepare and serve the wedding feast is one of the most important and difficult decisions a couple will make.
Great food that reflects you and your fiancé is incredibly important; however, equally important is the service. We can always rely on Carrie and Steve from Kurant Events to deliver delicious food and flawless service.

We are in the midst of updating our website, and we realized that we’d never shared these plum and gold wedding invitations from Tad and Berkeley‘s berry-pink inspired wedding at the Hotel St Cecilia. Our inspiration board for them envisioned a mix of midnight blues, pinks, and plums with a certain ornate opulence that we translated into their invitations as a multi-piece, multi-step experience for their guests. Along with the flowers and warmer weather comes wedding season downtime, and an opportunity to venture out and explore potential wedding venues in the area. We recently recieved an exclusive preview of Fair Market, an up and coming event venue located in an iconic warehouse in the downtown eastside of Austin with an adjoining outdoor area. Envision the garage doors raised for beautiful natural light and a blank canvas (with vaulted ceilings and the space for guests to dance, eat, and mingle). We can’t wait to design within this breathtaking space. The possibilities are endless!
