It’s been a busy week around here! Prepping for fall weddings, venue hunting for Spring brides (catch us on instagram!), while plotting out some perfectly cool recipes for summer eating. I get to be home alone with the dogs this week, and plan on partaking in some of my more obscure food inclinations while the husband is out of town.

A weekly round-up of a couple of things that caught my eye this week:

Secret Gardens // The house and work of French artist Clarie Basler is beyond inspiring — she paints her large scale floral work from daily arrangements, and the mix of them in her home and studio is absolutely incredible. Via Remodelista, images by Claire Basler.

Paperless Post + John Derian // Jamie Meares of I Suwannee and Furbish Studio reminded me of yet another great collaboration between John Derian and Paperless Post. Best part? They can print and ship you actual paper versions if you’re so inclined. Duly noted!

Summer Cravings // It’s no surprise that we spend a lot of time in the studio talking, dreaming, and collectively planning our food adventures. Smitten Kitchen is an old standby, and her Tomato, Corn, and Zucchini Galette recipe has my name all over it!

Off to enjoy the weekend, as we’re counting the weeks until the fall season starts up again. 2014 is looking like an especially fantastic year!
